Yakima Fly Fishers' Association May General Meeting

The May YFFA / TU#094 Chapter Meeting will be held on May 18, 7:00 pm at Magic's Pizza in Selah, WA.

The special event for the night will be Part II of a presentation series from Bob Rose on Fisheries Management.

Discussion will focus on three types of models that have been used within the Yakima Basin, Ecosystem Diagnosis and Treatment (EDT), Life-Cycle Models and Anadromy in Steelhead / Rainbow Trout.  

Bob Rose has worked for the US Forest Service, the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs and more recently with the Yakama Nation Fisheries Resources Management Program.  Much of this work was associated with modeling, particularly the development and use of the EDT model in various watersheds.  Others from the Yakama Nation fisheries program are expected to join Bob in this discussion with the Yakima Fly Fishers Association.
