Details

The end of May is one of the best times of the year to be on a trout stream in Minnesota.  It is also one of the most likely times to encounter roadkill (or, God forbid, to strike an animal) en route to the stream.

From May 22-29, Environment Minnesota Research and Policy Center will be sponsoring  a Wildlife Casualty Count Week.  Participants will be able to record roadkill sitings and submit them in a statewide monitoring effort that will provide data on the extent of wildlife fatalities on our roads, while raising awareness of the issue.
