The First White Haven Trout Festival
When: Saturday, June 3, 2023 Noon to 6 pm (rain date June 4)
Where: White Haven Library Community Center and Railyard Park, 121 Towanda Street, White Haven
Cost: Free
Activities will include: fly casting demonstrations, fly tying, explanations of trout habitat, trout life cycles, and aquatic and terrestrial insects that sustain the trout, raffles, kids activities, food and refreshments including a fish fry sponsored by the White Haven Library, live music, nature hikes, and booths featuring conservation organizations, fly shops, fishing clubs, artists, craftsmen, and various speakers highlighting and celebrating the Lehigh River, greater Poconos region, and of course, the trout!
Who: All are welcome! There will be activities for all ages and experience levels.
