Come join the fun and learn about our work in the legislature. We will help you prepare to talk with your representatives about policy and budget issues important to Trout Unlimited. Every two years the legislature comes together to write the state budget; and making our voices heard is critical to ensure habitat restoration, and vital natural resource conservation programs are fully funded for the next two years. Some important areas of focus will be funding for volunteer involvement in conservation science, Washington biodiversity, and preparing the state for Snake River Dam removal.
Early commitment is important to ensure we get a broad array of legislative meetings scheduled. I look forward to seeing you there!
