Time: 9am to 12 noon (sawyers that have completed a chainsaw safety course please arrive at 8:30, if needed we can provide a chainsaw and safety equipment).
Where: Upper Yahara River, DeForest. Meet at park entrance at 4601 Innovation Drive.
What
: We will be working with Greg Hall, Deputy Director of Public Services and his staff removing invasive woodies.
Bring: Be sure to bring safety glasses. If you forget we have extra that you can use. We want everyone to wear them. Also work gloves, sturdy shoes, ear protection, and reusable water bottles that can be re-filled from our 5-gal water jug. Stay hydrated.
Parking: There is plenty of parking on Innovation Drive.
