WHERE
- At the North Lot of the Miesville Ravine Park, where Trout Brook is located.
- 2 major restoration projects have been completed here by MNTU and Dakota Parks.
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING
- Working with Dakota Parks staff & staff from the firm that designed & engineered the restoration work.
- We will be cutting and treating buckthorn and scouting for snowy campions (click the link below to learn more) in the recently restored stretches.
- May have to wade across the stream, but nothing deeper than 1 foot.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Dress for the weather, but likely long sleeves and long pants
- Boots you can get wet
- A bottle of water
- A hat
- Sturdy workgloves
- Bug spray to be safe
WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED
- Loppers
- Buckthorn Blasters
- Lunch (post event)
