Mountain Empire Trout Unlimited is teaming up with local fly fishing businesses, Riverfeet Fly Fishing and Stone Fly Co, for a fly tying social at Appalachian Heritage Distillery & Brewery in Damascus, VA.
 
It will be a caddisfly extravaganza, tying three stages of the caddisfly life cycle that trout love to eat and anglers love to cast.
 
Tuesday, March 24, from 6-9 pm
 
Come for the fly tying and beverages, and get registered for Trout Days! You can even sign up to be a METU member.
 
Beginners and the just plain curious are welcome to show up and learn about fly-tying!
