The Twin Cities Chapter of Trout Unlimited (TCTU) will hold its Annual Meeting and elections for its Board of Directors on Wednesday, January 25th at 7 pm. The meeting will be held in-person at the Fat Pants Brewing Company in Eden Prairie, and online via Zoom.
TCTU Chapter Meetings are typically open to the general public, but the Annual Meeting is restricted to chapter members in good standing with dues paid. If you are a TCTU member but unsure whether your dues are paid, please send an email to membership@twincitiestu.org to confirm. Update on Trout in the Classroom by special guest Amber Taylor, Education Program Supervisor, MNTU
Amber began her education career as a classroom science teacher before changing paths and has been doing some form of education for over 10 years, working as an environmental and outdoor recreation educator, naturalist, and outreach presenter with various organizations around the state. In her 5th year with MNTU as Education Program Supervisor, Amber has 65 schools throughout Minnesota participating in the Trout in the Classroom program. She conducts trainings, runs programs with students, coordinates with the DNR, and keeps her own trout tank to learn alongside the teachers.
* The main purpose of the proposed bylaws revisions is to better codify our processes for voting via an internet platform. For a complete list of the proposed amendments, click here.

In order to prepare an accurate list of voting members, registrations will close on January 23rd at 8:30 pm.
The Chapter meeting will start at 7 pm, with 10 minutes of "virtual lobby time" to give online participants time to log on. In-person participants are invited to join us for social time and food/drink (on your own dime) from 5 pm onward.
