Springtime brings the heaviest aquatic insect hatches of the year to Southeast Minnesota. And, believe it or not, Spring is just around the corner!
Guide Lance Prado of the Root River Rod Company in Lanesboro will give us an overview of fishing these hatches: when, where and how.
Lance Prado loves to cast at anything that swims. He is the owner and Head guide at Root River Rod co in Lanesboro MN. He spends most of his days rowing a drift boat and putting people on Trout and SmallMouth bass. When he is not guiding, he is helping people in the Fly shop select the right flies and gear and point them in the right direction to have a great day in the Driftless. In his free time, he also likes to fish for muskies with his fly rod and takes trips out west and to the salt a couple times a year.
The Chapter meeting will start at 7 pm, with 10 minutes of "virtual lobby time" to give online participants time to log on. In-person participants are invited to join us for social time and food/drink (on your own dime) from 5 pm onward.
