Load up on rods and bring your friends, cuz it's time for SPEYAPALOOZA! Come as you are to hang out with North Sound Trout Unlimited & The Confluence Fly Shop on the banks of the mighty Skagit to celebrate all things Spey! Join us at Howard Miller Steelhead Park in Rockport, WA Saturday, May 2nd from 10am-4:30pm. We welcome everyone of all skill levels - from the newcomer to the seasoned pro. We'll have something tasty for lunch, gear demos, fly tying, small group casting classes, awesome raffle prizes, and much more.

Whether you are wading into the world of two-handed long rods for the first time or scouting out your next rod purchase (and your next…and your next…), you will have ample opportunity to chat with several vendors and test out all kinds of Spey rods, reels, and lines.

We are once again offering a full slate of our free, small group casting classes. It's a unique opportunity to gain expert instruction on the water regardless of your skill level. Slots are limited, so be sure to register in advance via the TU events page. If you'd rather go your own pace, just show up and grab some gear the day of the event.

Entry is free, but you'll want to have cash or a card for opportunity draw prizes, lunch donations, or some of our incredible T-shirts. We want to keep the event fun, affordable, and accessible, but we also rely on your generous support to keep the party goin'. Also, bring yer waders! If you need waders/boots, let us know at least two weeks in advance. We don't want anything to stand in the way of you and Speyapalooza 2026!

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY CAMPING DETAILS (Optional)

Nothing builds community like a campfire, reminding us that we do this crazy fly fishing thing for the people as much as the fish. NSTU has a small block of campsites at Howard Miller Steelhead Park on May 1st and 2nd. These spots are available first come first served at NSTU’s secure donation page. Before you reserve, please note the following:
BRING FRIENDS! Each site fits two tents/rigs. To maximize our limited slots, we encourage folks to split a site with buddies.
CAMPSITES ARE FOR TWO NIGHTS! There is no option for reserving a single night, but you also aren't required to camp both days (but it's more fun if you do...)
RESPECT THE FACILITIES: No more than two cars are allowed at a single site. And per the park, you MAY NOT park on the grass.
REACH OUT IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT! If you need to cancel or make changes to your reservation, email northsoundtu@gmail.com immediately. We expect there to be a waitlist, and we want to fill the spots. Don't be a no show, yo.

PURCHASING CAMPING
To keep down on processing fees, we are managing camping payments via NSTU’s secure donation page. To book your slot:
1. Read the important notes above.
2. Go to NSTU's secure donation page to "purchase" a 2026 Speyapalooza Camping ticket. Do NOT purchase more than one ticket.
3. Send an email to northsoundtu@gmail.com with your name (so we can check that you paid) and how many tents AND people are in your party.
4. Stay tuned for check in details as we get closer to the event.
5. Get excited!
