We are planning to hold the 3rd Annual Redd Survey Training on Saturday, Oct 25th starting at 0800. Rain date would be the following Saturday, Nov 1st.

We will meet at the WDNR Wild Rose Fisheries Habitat Station (N6154 State Rd 22, Wild Rose, 54984 – https://maps.app.goo.gl/fiSPDDoQPUpp8XP89). Breakfast will be graciously provided by the kind folks with CWTU. We will have a brief classroom presentation outlining the Redd Survey process. We will then head out to the field (presumably to the Mecan River) to get hands on training to identify redds, how to enter your observations into the app properly, and tips on how to go about conducting your own surveys. Bagged lunch will be provided out in the field by CWTU.

If you plan to attend please respond to me, and if you know of others that want to come please let me know and send their email address so that I can add them on to this email string.

You will need to bring waders, phones, and polarized sunglasses.
