PSWOTF - Women's Fishing Outing - Munn Lake - November 9th
We’ll meet at Munn Lake at 10 a.m. Munn lake does not have any shore access, so this outing will require some sort of boat. A few days prior to the event we will send out an email with more details and any changes that may have needed to be made. Please watch out for an email from pugetsoundwomenonthefly@gmail.com.
Cancellation - unfortunately, there isn’t a way to cancel on Event Groove. If you aren’t going to be able to make it, please either hit the “contact event organizer” or send us an email at pugetsoundwomenonthefly@gmail.com to let us know.

Below are common flies for Western Washington. The best fly for the situation depends on a lot of factors so your best bet is to have an array of flies in your set. Call or go into your local fly shop to find out what has recently been working for the waterway. Buying flies is always a great way to support your local fly shop!
Common Flies:
Most of the time you’ll fish sub-surface on a lake, occasionally there could be a hatch or surface action earlier in the day or in the evening. I’d have a larger supply of streamers and nymphs
-
Dries: Mayflies, Stoneflies, Caddis
-
Nymphs: Copper John, Pat’s Stone, Pheasant Tail, Prince Nymph
-
Streamers: Leech, Wooly Bugger
We keep as much as possible free to our communities, if you are able to please consider donating cash or through venmo at outings.
