WHAT IS IT?
- Project THERMALS is a 5 year water temperature monitoring program being done with TCTU's friend Mark Nemeth of the DNR.
- We need 3 volunteers to assist in removing data loggers from the stream, downloading the data and replacing them in the stream.
- We'll be climbing in and out at 15 different locations all under Mark's guidance.
WHERE DO WE MEET?
- We'll be meeting at the South Branch of the Vermillion River AMA (see map)
- The data stations are at 15 different locations on the South Branch and South Creek, all in Dakota County
WHAT TO BRING?
- Dress for the weather
- Chest waders
- Water!
WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED?
- All equipment and supplies
- Lunch halfway through the day
