What is Project FLAGSTAFF

This is a joint effort between Dakota Parks and TCTU to improve the riparian habitat along South Creek in Farmington. We'll be having multiple events killing buckthorn & helping Dakota Parks plant native vegetation over the next several years.

What Will We Do

Cut and stack buckthorn
Treat the stumps with Buckthorn Blasters
Enjoy a post work lunch provided by TCTU

What You Should Bring

Dress for the weather
Leather work gloves
Water!

What Will Be Provided By TCTU

Equipment (saws, loppers, Buckthorn Blasters)
Protective gear (nitrile gloves)
Lunch post work
