The Pine Creek Watershed Council, Tiadaghton Chapter TU, Tioga County Conservation District, and PA Coldwater Habitat Program are planning to plant 10,000 trees this Spring in the Pine Creek watershed (Long Run and Phoenix Run). 

The group will meet at 9am each Saturday.

Tools will be provided but participants should bring their own transportation, gloves, water, bug spray, and snacks. 

This is a continuation of efforts beginning about 3 years ago by the watershed council and partners to interplant coniferous species within hemlock stands either affected by or at risk from the Hemlock Wooley adelgid.
