Paige Strasko of the Northampton County Conservation District (NCCD) will be giving a walking tour of a conservation project the NCCD will be implementing in 2027. The project will consist of construction to implement stream restoration and fish habitat enhancement structures on the Little Bushkill Creek in Stockertown Borough, Northampton County. This project will stabilize and restore eroding streambanks in three locations along the Little Bushkill Creek, enhance fish habitat, as well as increase riparian buffers where applicable. There will be a total of 930 linear feet of streambank stabilization between the three sites.
