Neponset River Fall Cleanup

GBTU is celebrating Trout Week: Sept. 25 – Oct. 2 with multiple events.

Please register to volunteer with our Home Water Partner, the Neponset River Watershed for their Fall Cleanup

Saturday, September 25 from 9AM - Noon

Join with hundreds of volunteers as we spread out across the Neponset River Watershed to clean up our River, streams, ponds, parks, and trails. You can choose the site you wish to be at in the registration form.

·        We will provide trash bags, trash tongs, rakes, shovels, gloves, hand sanitizer, and bug spray.

·        Please plan to bring masks, hats, sunscreen, water, snacks — and any favorite work gloves (we will also have gloves on-site for you.)

·        Long pants and closed-toed shoes are recommended for terrain and poison ivy.

GBTU is following all CDC Guidelines and state and local rules for in-person events. We encourage all participants to wear a mask, whether you have been vaccinated or not, at times when you are unable to socially distance at the event.
