Let's fish the Dog River and the streams and brooks of the Dog!

This week, Thursday June 1st MadDog TU members and anyone who'd like to join in come and fish the waters of the Dog River and then meet for snacks and wings to smash burgers & Philly-style sandwiches at Good Measure Pub and Brewery in Northfield Village on 17 East Street. Fish the afternoon and early evening and meet at Good Measure at 7:00 P.M.

Find some water to fish and then stop in for a meal and tell your fish stories, tear into one of their mighty fine menu and order up a fine Good Measure beer!

The Dog River is in fine shape now, though a bit low and the weather looks promising, there's been some heat to check temps 1st!  The Dog is a demanding teacher but oh so generous when lessons are learned!  Take your time on the river since these are all wild trout here!  The tribs can be somewhat more friendly so think about Bull Run, Cox Brook or Sunny Brook and perhaps visit the upper Dog for wild brookies!
