Barrier Assessment Team - Level B Training

Greetings TU Members, and thank you for your interest in WCTU's Barrier Assessment Team. We are pleased to offer this Level B Barrier Assessment training session led by Luke Kelly, TU staff member, on Sunday June 14th 2026 from 9:00AM until approximately 1:00PM.

Although this session will include a brief Level A assessment training refresher, you must have previously completed Level A training to be eligible for Level B training.

Important: we ask that you review the following Level B training video to become generally familiar with the procedure before attending the Level B in-person training.

We will meet at 9AM on June 14th, 2026 in the parking lot at Tulalip Bingo and Slots, 2911 Quil Ceda Blvd, Tulalip, WA 98271 (48.077372, -122.193221). This is located on Tulalip Tribes Reservation on the west side of Interstate 5 near Marysville.

WHAT TO BRING

Waders preferred (waist high is fine) or hip boots
Lunch and water
Dress for the weather
Sunscreen, hat

You must be a current member of Trout Unlimited to participate in this training.

(We do not need your TU membership number, just your word that you have joined or renewed your membership. This is a requirement because of our agreement with WDFW for training volunteers)

Once you have registered for the June 14th training, please email Catalina Burch (catalina.burch@tu.org) and Dean Campbell (dean@washingtontu.org) to let them know. Please also notify if, after having registered, you are unable to attend for some reason.
