Letters and Lagers for Steelhead, Ferndale edition

You joined us last year to make the push for restoring Quicksilver funding. That passion made the lack of a winter fishery an even more bitter pill to swallow. But conservation can be a slow, uncertain, miserable slog (much like winter steelhead fishing...)... if there's fish in the river there is work to be done. 2027's legislative session is a budget year. Between electoral outcomes, retirements, and the general chaos of every day life, it is too easy for Quicksilver to get in lost in the shuffle. Our fish need to know that you aren't going anywhere!  

 

Thus we are running back our Letters and Lagers event, with a special focus on the lands beyond Bellingham: Washington's 42nd legislative district. We've reached out to candidates running in the district this November with the hopes they'll come by, learn about Quicksilver, and connect with their future constituents. Please join us at Fringe Brewing in Ferndale at 7pm on October 20. Regardless of who can make it out, we will be there with some resources to help you connect with your lawmakers, answer questions about Quicksilver and other funding priorities, and share a beer with our friends.
