Join us for our KSTU ANNUAL LITTLE MAHONING CREEK MACROINVERTEBRATES SURVEY: Members of KSTU and the PA Senior Environmental Corps will conduct a survey of the aquatic insect life found in the LMC. We utilize a kicknet (so bring your waders if you want to get in on this action) to sample LMC and Cessna Run to determine their water quality based on the biological content of our samples. It is a fun and informative outing and all are welcome.

Event date: Wednesday, May 13th

Event time: ~5:30pm until ~8:00pm

Event location: We will gather and take our first samples at the Millstone on the upper end of the LMC FLY PROJECT along East Creek Road.

What to bring: General instructions include: hat, dress for the weather, appropriate footwear (wet wear if you want to get in on the kick net action), water, sunscreen and bug spray. Bring your own tweezers and magnifiers if you wish.

We will provide: All equipment needed to conduct the sampling.
