KEN SINK TU “INTRODUCTION TO FLY FISHING” CLASS

Instructor: Bob Sagely, PFBC Certified Fly Fishing Instructor
A five-hour (9am~3pm) introduction to fly fishing class for ages 13 and up. Under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent participant. Participants will learn a variety of basic skills that will allow them to begin to enjoy fly fishing as a recreational pastime. Topics covered: Basic equipment and terminology; How fly fishing differs from spin and bait casting; How to rig a fly rod; Basic knot tying for fly fishing; The basics of forward and roll casting a fly rod.
Equipment is provided, though you may bring your own to use. Lunch break from 11:30am until 12:15pm. Bring your own vittles!
We will meet at Pavilion 2 on the southwest corner of the Lake, just outside the campground (301Slag Road). Restrooms are available at this location.
