The Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo is the largest fly fishing event in the Midwest, scheduled for March 13-15, 2026, at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Presented by Minnesota Trout Unlimited, the event serves as both a fundraiser for cold-water fisheries conservation and a comprehensive celebration of the sport. Key features of the expo include:

Exhibitors & Gear: Attendees can browse the latest 2026 equipment, clothing, and tackle from top brands, fly shops, guides, and outfiters.

Education: The event offers nearly four dozen free programs and seminars covering "dream destinations" and technical skills.

Hands-on Instruction: There is on-going free fly casting instruction provided by the Lew Jewett Fly Fishers and the IFFF, as well as fly tying demonstrations.

Community Events: In addition to standard show hours, there is a "Saturday Social" held from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
