We can't wait for you to join us in welcoming the new WI DNR - Green Bay office's Fish Biologist, Logan Cutler !!

Presentation:

On October 1st, Logan will be sharing a presentation titled: Insights from DNR Collaboration with Wild River Trout Unlimited and Opportunities in Green Bay. Below is a presentation summary provided by Logan:

"Logan Cutler, a recent addition to the DNR’s Green Bay fisheries management crew, will introduce himself and talk about his collaboration with Wild Rivers Trout Unlimited during his time as a DNR fisheries biologist in Brule. Project highlights include Adopt a Fisheries Area, kiosk creel surveys on the White River and 9 stocked trout lakes, Marengo River wood additions, VIE and PIT tagging for a movement study, and invasive buckthorn removals. The presentation will end with a discussion of potential projects and collaborations between Green Bay DNR staff and Green Bay Trout Unlimited."

Logan's Bio (courtesy of Logan):

Logan Cutler is a Wisconsin DNR fisheries biologist in the Green Bay office covering inland waters of Manitowoc and Brown counties and the walleye and musky fisheries in Green Bay. He grew up in Neenah and earned a bachelor’s degree from UW-Stevens Point and master’s degree from South Dakota State University. He worked for the DNR out of the Brule office covering Douglas and Bayfield counties for 2.5 years before moving to Green Bay last spring. During his time in Brule, he collaborated with Wild Rivers Trout Unlimited regularly and is looking for opportunities to connect with Green Bay Trout Unlimited.

2026-27 GBTU Budget Vote:

At our GBTU September BOD meeting, the Board worked together to pass a 2026-27 DRAFT budget. The budget will be presented to membership for approval at this October 1st meeting.
