Dan Herrick, one of the best if not the best fly tyer in the Southcentral Region, will demonstrate fly tying at the ACTU chapter gathering on July 19th at 6:30 PM.
Dan started learning to tie flies in 1978, with two excellent fly tyers as mentors - Danny Greenawalt and Bob Wetzel. He was a commercial fly tyer for 10 years, tying 800 to 1,000 dozen flies per year!! He loves to teach and show techniques learned over the 40 years of fly tying. Dan is also a Past President of ACTU.
Our monthly business meeting will follow at approximately 7:30 pm. Both events are free and open to the public. Join us at the Adams County Conservation District Building, 670 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, PA. Office, for an enjoyable evening of trout talk and camaraderie. You’ll be glad you came.
