Come join Lakeshore TU as we begin the recovery of the Onion River riparian corridor that has been devastated by emerald ash borer. We have 75 native trees from the State nursery mostly Burr Oak, Swamp White Oak, Maple and tamarack to plant along the Onion River on the south side of Hwy U in Sheboygan County. This planting occurs on public fishing land. Planting trees is one way that everyone can contribute to improving our environment. All are welcome. This is a great event for families. We will provide training and equipment. Bring only appropriate clothing, work boots, gloves and a desire to help the earth.
