Volunteer Opportunity at Chester Creek

GGTU has previously planted trees and added cages along Chester Creek. Many of the trees are growing well and have outgrown their cages. We need to release trees, remove cages, weed and brush around trees and cut down buckthorn.

Event date: Monday, November 2nd 2026

Event time: 3:30pm-6pm

Event location: We will meet at the small parking lot across from the St Louis Public Safety Building on Rice Lake Road, just South of Arrowhead Road. If you show up later than 3:30pm, we will be working on removing cages directly East of the parking lot Google Maps link to parking location - https://maps.app.goo.gl/X4WA7CE9kbeXmFWt8

What to bring: appropriate footwear (rubber boots, or waterproof boots), work gloves, pliers.

We are excited to see you there!
