Guide PJ Smith will talk about how to build your skills and knowledge to get to that next level. Tips that will help you start to maximize your time on the water, whether you fish trout, smallies and even musky. He will go into the physical and mental part of getting better at fly fishing.

He's spent many hours and put thousands of miles on his truck exploring the streams & rivers of Wisconsin. PJ's wife, Donna, is a Certified Casting Instructor. Along with guiding, PJ and Donna offer casting lessons and fly fishing schools for anglers of all skill levels. PJ's website can be found at www.pjguideservice.com.
If you are attending in-person, please join us for an Education "Happy Hour" from 5:30 onward. Amber Taylor, Evan Griggs and Jim Emery from the MNTU Education team will be on hand to show what has been going on with Trout in the Classroom and talk about upcoming student Trout Releases in Farmington and Stillwater. They'll also have information on volunteering for summer fishing skills programs in metro-area lakes, and for our new "Meet a Stream" program where we will take kids and their parents to nearby trout streams.
