Cabin Fever Fly Tying Expo - Featuring Bob Clouser Jr. & Henry Ramsay

Back by popular demand, our 2022 Cabin Fever Fly Tying event will be held on Sunday, February 6th, from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at the Stewartstown American Legion, 19222 Barrens Rd S, Stewartstown, PA 17363. (Rt 24, just south of Stewartstown).

The event will offer fly-tying demonstrations by Bobby Clouser, Henry Ramsay, and MCTU members. Henry Ramsay, author of “Matching Major Eastern Hatches, New Patterns for Selective Trout” and co-author of “Keystone Fly Fishing Guide,” will sign and sell books, and we will all appreciate the opportunity to hear Bobby tell stories!

Entry is free and attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a Bass Pro Deluxe Fly Tying Kit with a case and a Premium Fly-Tying Material Kit! One winner will walk away with these two kits worth a combined retail value of $189.98 and have everything they need to get started tying and fill their boxes with hundreds of flies! Can’t attend the event? Muddy Creek Trout Unlimited merchandise and gently used fishing equipment will also be on sale. Food and beverages will be available from the legion’s dining facility.

Fly casting demonstrations will be held weather permitting.

Come learn from some experienced tyers, stock up gear, books, and ideas for winter tying, and enjoy an afternoon with fellow anglers!
