Barrier Assessment Training (BAT) for the Clark County Kalama Watershed
Greetings TU Members. We are happy to finally offer this BAT training for Southwest WA region. Luke Kelly, TU staff member, and all-around smart person will be leading the BAT training on Saturday 6/24/23.
BAT training consists of two parts; the first is done virtually by you, prior to the in-person training. It is mandatory and your responsibility to complete this virtual session before the actual field training on the 24th in order to fully understand the in-person training. Please make sure you prepare yourself by watching the video above.
The training on the 24th will be in person and we will be meeting up at the pullout at the intersection of Hwy 503 and Forest Service Road 81. This intersection is about 1 mile SSW of the town of Cougar, WA. GPS coordinates are 46.04143, -122.31094.
WHAT TO BRING:
You must also be a current member of Trout Unlimited to attend and participate in this training. If you have never been a member of TU you can sign up for $17.50 Here--->https://gifts.tu.org/intro
We do not need your Identification # just your word that you have joined or renewed your membership. This is a requirement because of the agreement we have with WDFW for training volunteers.
IMPORTANT: Once you have Registered for the in-person Saturday 6/24/23 training, please email Dean Campbell (BAT Coordinator) and let him know ---->> <dean@washingtontu.org>
