Assist our education team as they teach Trout in the Classroom students about aquatic macroinvertebrates. How are they identified? How do they breath? What is their life cycle? What role(s) do they play in an aquatic ecosystem? What is biomimicry? We discuss all of these questions and more during this aquatic macroinvertebrate program in which students get to see and hold specimens. Volunteers with all levels of insect knowledge and experience are invited to assist! Also, no touching of insects is required, but is encouraged!
Program is from 12:30PM-3:30PM. This includes ~1/2 hour before and after for set up and take down. Please register at least 2 days prior to program.
If you have any questions, please contact Amber Taylor, education@mntu.org.
