This 2 1/2 hour workshop covers advanced nymph fishing methods and tactics building a systematic approach based on reading the water to allow the angler to choose the best method for each water type. Find out when and how to get the most out of strike indicators, using new and more accurate products, plus new innovations in their use. What is a readable indicator and which are most accurate? Learn to balance your rig to improve your catch rate. Discover when and how to use euronymphing or other tight line techniques. Tie some new knots and practice leader construction in the ‘hands on’ portion.

Attendance will be limited to 12 participants for a personalized, hands-on experience.

Jason Randall has been an outdoor writer for the last twenty years with feature articles appearing regularly in American Angler, as well as Fly Fisherman, Eastern Fly Fishing, Northwest Fly Fishing and many other outdoor magazines. He is a veterinarian certified in fish health and medicine. He is also a member of the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association and the Society for Freshwater Science. He has written 4 books on trout and trout fishing. Temple Fork Outfitters (TFO) named Jason to their National Advisory Team to develop a new and innovative nymph fishing rod. In October, 2017 the ‘Drift Rod’ was released to wide acclaim as the first truly convertible rod, changing in length from 9, 10, 11 or 12 feet. In 2020, the latest of Jason’s efforts, the Stealth rod was completed and available to euronymphing anglers. Each year, Jason appears and presents at shows and events throughout North America.
