Join us as Josh Filter and Michael Lenetsky talk about the year-round fly-fishing opportunities in the Ithaca area of the Finger Lakes. They will talk us through fly-fishing in and around Ithaca during each of our seasons. From early Spring tributary fishing through the Summer and Fall and eventually into the Winter. The talk will cover tactics, locations (in general), gear, and the fish they are targeting.

Josh and Michael are long-time leaders of the Leon Chandler Chapter of Trout Unlimited in the Ithaca and Cortland area.  They are life-long fisherman and have been fly-fishing year-round in the Finger Lakes region for much of the past 23 years. Their talk should be informative and provide plenty of time for any questions that may arise during.  

We will also get back to holding our Raffle at the February gathering, thanks to several generous estate donations that gave us a large new infusion of fly tackle and tying materials.

Note: This season we are starting meetings at the Legion half an hour earlier at 6:30pm and ending promptly at 8pm. The doors will open at 6:00pm. Come early to help us setup, grab some refreshments and tell fish stories with your buddies.
