Join us for our annual hosted fishing day on Saturday May 11th! Woolly Buggers volunteers will be there to help you become a better fisherperson, improve your casting, or just help you find fish and untangle knots. Anglers of all levels can learn more from our volunteers if they ask the right questions. This is a great time for kids to chase panfish and bass and for volunteers to coach the kids as they fish.
Rods and reels are available for those that do not have their own. Please let us know in your ticket reservation if you plan to borrow or bring your own gear.
We are fishing at Julius Kleiner Park, meeting at Picnic Shelter A2, from 9am-1pm. Bring your water bottle, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and your own lunch, and join us to catch some warm-water fish! If you have fishing gear, bring it with your name on it, or use our gear. Remember, we are a barbless fishing club and sunglasses/eye protection and a hat/head protection are required anytime we are fishing!
Arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 - we will start the day casting and fishing at 9! We will wrap up and let the volunteers leave at 1pm. Please plan to stick around and have a great day fishing or pick up before then.
RSVPs are required so we can ensure enough gear and volunteers!
