Women on the Water 2nd Session on the Boardman River

Back this summer by popular demand are the Adams Chapter's Women on the Water - Introduction to Fly Fishing Classes!

These classes are open to women of all ages and provides a hands-on introduction to fly fishing and an understanding of trout and their habitat. This year's events will be held July 17th at Veronica Valley County Park in Leelanau County and August 7th at the Brown Bridge Quiet Area in Grand Traverse County. Snacks and beverages will be provided as well as all required gear. If you have a 3-6 wt fly rod you're welcome to bring it.

There is no charge for these events, but you must be a member of Trout Unlimited to attend. Space is limited and will fill up fast.

Please Note:

The Veronica Valley class will target bluegill and bass and fishing will be from shore.

The Brown Bridge class will target trout and fishing we will be wading in the river.
