Women on the Water

A day of learning and  fly fishing. We will have instruction on casting, knot tying, aquatic insects and fishing below Miller Island. The Bowling families are graciously allowing us to use their beautiful property located off River Road below Miller Island. We can provide all equipment needed or you can bring your own gear. The area below the island has some of the most productive water around Miller's. We will provide lunch for you to enjoy as well. TVA has given us an extended minimum flow that will allow us to wade up to 4:00 pm. You can arrive around 8:30 am to sign in and get to know everyone. We will try to start around 9:00 am. Directions: from hwy 441 N take a left onto River rd (like you were going to Miller Island boat ramp), follow River rd to the last driveway on your right. We will have directional signs to assist you. You must pre-register on our website Home page at www.crctu.org. Space is limited for this event, we will register 16 ladies.
