Willowemoc Creek Tree Planting - April 12th (Roscoe, NY)

Join community volunteers and TU staff for a native tree planting on a recent TU restoration site of the Willowemoc Creek. The event till take place from 11am-2pm and is welcome to all ages. If you are attending TU's Northeast Regional Rendezvous, this event is already included in your agenda. However, all local and visiting anglers & river enthusiasts are indeed welcome to join us and we ask that you please sign up by reserving a (free) ticket for you and your guests to help us prepare numbers of tools, trees, and snacks!*

This location was the site of a 2025 TU restoration project that supported the Town of Rockland for both protection of local infrastructure and habitat improvement on the Willowemoc Creek. As a continued effort to improve riparian (or streamside) buffers and increase future canopy shade to keep our rivers cool, Trout Unlimited and our partners are committed to planting thousands of native trees each year and we look forward to showing you how it all works!
