Community Tree Planting Pop Up on the Willowemoc 9-11AM - Join our staff and local volunteers as we plant some trees on a recent bank stabilization & habitat restoration project along the Willowemoc in Roscoe, NY. 9 - 11 AM // This Saturday the 24th. All tools are supplied, just bring some water and boots made for dirt. Please register if interested, via the link in bio. *Address and details will be provided upon registration. Catskill Fly Tyers Guild 11-4PM
After the planting, we'll head to Livingston Manor for the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild event. Open to the public, and donations to our gracious hosts at the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum are certainly welcome. Wulff Gallery from 11-4 pm. Writers, artists, tyers, and historians will share the space and some tips (including but not limited to); Del Mazza, Dave Canazone, Tom Mason, John Shaner, Catskill John Bonasera, Seth Cavarretta, & more. Open tying session + a discussion on the "History and Tradition of Catskill Style Flies".
Beginners to experts are welcome, bring your fly-tying tools & materials for an open tying session!
