Anglers, river stewards, and neighbors - join us as we care for and enjoy Wisconsin's White River with a streamside tree planting in partnership with the Wisconsin DNR and Wild Rivers Trout Unlimited.

This planting will complement decades of efforts to manage invasive Buckthorn on site and revegetate areas that have been cleared of Buckthorn with native tree species. Participants will also get to tour the project site and learn about the history of restoration practices that they are supporting.

Planting tools and supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring gloves or extra tools if you wish. We recommend that participants bring bug spray, sturdy shoes or muck boots, and water. Lunch will be provided.

This event is family-friendly. All are welcome!

For directions, please enter 46.444198,-91.307932 into Google Maps or other navigation systems. We will meet off of Rocky Run Road. Volunteers are welcome to stay as long or as little as you'd like.

This planting project is made possible by a generous grant from Bell's Brewery!
