Volunteer to help clean up and learn more about the wonderful West Hickman Creek that runs through Veterans Park in Lexington, KY. It is a great way to meet others interested in conservation and fishing. And did you know, that the KY Department of Fish and Wildlife Department stocks rainbow trout in Hickman Creek during the winter months for recreational angling? We will have our fly casting rod and reel kits available for casting practice or demonstration after the clean-up to use on the grass by the shelter. We will meet at the Rockbridge Road entrance to Veterans Park.
