It's Water Week 2025 in Lexington (March 22-March 30, 2025)! Join award-winning outdoor writer and professional fishing guide Bill Carman,  to enjoy a conversational journey (with slides) through the rivers and streams of Daniel Boone's life - including the stories of Boone's adventures on 25 of those streams, and modern perspective of a fly fisherman today.
 
Audience members will learn about the life of Daniel Boone by touring the streams where he explored, lived, fought, and died. The natural history, the human history, and Boone's history will be discussed, including well-known Boone stories, and some more obscure Boone lore. This presentation is based on Bill Carman's book of the same name.This event is free and open to the public, and accessible for all ages. 
 
This event is a part of Lexington's Water Week, and is co-sponsored by Bluegrass Trout Unlimited.
