We are excited to share that Colorado TU’s Headwaters Education Programs, lead by Education Director, Natalie Flowers, is being considered for the Cox Conserves Heroes award!
Headwaters Education Programs connect thousands of young people, educators, and communities to Colorado’s rivers through hands-on learning and conservation. Through programs like Trout in the Classroom, STREAM, and Conservation & Fly Fishing Camp, participants experience rivers firsthand, learn about healthy watersheds, and build a lasting connection to the places they live.
In 2025, Headwaters Education reached more than 31,000 youth, educators, and community members. Help us continue to support and expand our educational programs across Colorado by voting Colorado TU Headwaters Education Programs. The winners get a chance as 30,000 - 5,000 dollars in funding toward our programs.
Public voting for the Cox Conservation Heroes opens September 28 and runs through October 4.
