Help us give our young plants some space to grow!
In 2024, TU completed a major habitat restoration project on North Burnt Fork Creek as it flows through Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge. As part of this work, volunteers rallied to help plant 550 native trees and shrubs! The plants are looking great, but we all know that planting is just step #1. Weeds are creeping in and we need your help keeping them at bay. Join us!
What to Bring & Wear
Please bring water and work gloves. We also recommend close-toed shoes and pants. Some of these weeds are prickly! If you have a favorite weeding tool (trowel, shovel etc.), bring it too.
Trout Unlimited and the Refuge will supply snacks and trash bags.
