Sign up for our next project this year- Ted Trueblood Trout Unlimited is teaming up with the USFS to **plant cottonwoods and willows from pots** on Little Pierce Creek, which is close to the Danskin takeout parking lot- about 11 miles below Anderson Ranch Dam.
We will meet at 9:30am in the Danskin takeout parking lot and plant trees until approximately 2:30 pm with needed breaks. Please bring your own lunch, snacks and water.
**Please Note** Willow/cottonwood planting can be labor intensive, especially at this harsh site where hammering rebar through rocky rubble will require moderate to heavy exertion. We are looking for about 15 volunteers.
We will be providing tools and training needed for the day. You can bring your own tools if you choose to- we need a few large-headed hammers if you have one to bring along. Dress for spring weather and please wear sturdy shoes. Bring your own food & beverages. See the attached map for parking.
If you have any questions about the project please contact Richard at coffeerush@q.com.
