Volunteers Needed for a Boise River riparian planting opportunity

Riparian Planting along Alta Harris Creek
Saturday, November 1st
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Meeting Location: Eckert Road parking area or overflow parking at Barber Park
Help us continue the good work that we have been doing by planting native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers to improve streamside habitat that is incredibly important to wildlife of all kinds living in the area!
We will provide the native plants, tools and any training needed for a fun-filled fall day outdoors. You can bring your own gloves and/or tools if you choose to. Dress in layers and please wear sturdy shoes or boots that you don't mind getting dirty and maybe a little wet. Bring any water and/or snacks that you would like to have for the day.
Parking will be at Eckert Road parking area or overflow parking at Barber Park if necessary. Please see map below which shows the overflow parking.
