A fun, and silly way to usher in the holiday season, our annual Ugly Sweater trip to the Farmington with the Candlewood Valley Chapter is always a festive affair.

We'll meet at 10 a.m. at UpCountry Sportfishing, then head out on the water to fish. A warming station with fire, hot chocolate, coffee and snacks will be open and running at the People's State Park pavilion at Matthies Grove around 1 pm.

Whether you swing by to say hi and flaunt your ugliest outfit, stop to fish for a few hours, or stay the entire time, you're welcome to join us whether you are a TU member or not. Family, kids and beginner anglers welcome - we can even lend gear to those who need to borrow it!
