On New England’s Kennebec and the Pacific NW’s Snake, four dams stand between native salmon and critical spawning and rearing habitat. Dam removal is critical to prevent salmon extinction on both coasts. This presentation and panel Q&A will cover why these dams are causing such a problem, what’s being done to move dam removal forward, and steps you can take to support the effort.
Our expert panel of presenters will include:
Greg McReynolds, Intermountain Regional Director, Angler Conservation Program, Trout Unlimited
Jeff Reardon, Maine Brook Trout Project Director, Trout Unlimited
Paul Christman, Biologist, Maine Department of Marine Resources.
John Burrows, US Director, Atlantic Salmon Federation
