TU Volunteer Leader Townhall: Community Engagement
Critical to the success of TU's mission is the
engagement of whole communities around a shared connection to local cold, clean
water. In fact, TU’s
most recent Strategic Plan has just three articulated goals. The second
reads, Goal: Inspire a diverse corps of staff, volunteers, and partners to
advocate for and participate in the care and recovery of our lands and waters.”
But, just what is TU doing differently to meet this
new organizational goal? Join us for this townhall as TU’s President and CEO
and Chief Operating Officer, Chris Wood and Joanne Theurich respectively, provide
updates on our strategies to:
• Develop a new engagement model that expands the
corps of volunteers, partners, supporters, and advocates taking action to care
for and recover our lands and waters; and
• Renew TU’s brand strategy and message and
establish a multi-year marketing communications plan to advance TU’s goals.
Now, more than ever, we need your help to ensure
that we’re engaging entire communities around the hopeful and exciting work of
repairing and renewing our rivers, streams, and other water bodies on which we
all depend.
All volunteer leaders are invited to join this
virtual townhall discussion with TU's President and CEO, Chris Wood, and TU's
Chief Operating Officer, Joanne Theurich. Please register for this free event
at TU's Event Center at TU Volunteer Leader Townhall: Community Engagement. Log in
