TU Volunteer Leader Orientation

Thank you for stepping forward to serve as a Trout Unlimited volunteer! Join your Volunteer Operations Staff for this special orientation training session, held the second Tuesday of every other month.
 
As you know, TU is comprised of an army of volunteer leaders – more than 3,000 passionate conservationists and anglers like you – to bring our mission forward in the 400+ chapters and councils across the country. 
 
Before our training session, please take some time to explore the Leadership Manual. The manual includes position descriptions, advocacy considerations, insurance information and much more!  
 
 As a board member, you might find the following resources especially helpful: 

• New Leader Orientation—Welcome video giving you a glimpse of the tools, resources, and support network  

• Important TU Policies—Documents stating guidelines and resolutions for vital TU initiatives  

• Leader’s Only Tools—Send out emails reminding chapter members of upcoming events, view chapter rosters, & financial reports 

• Chapter Leadership Development—Resources to help cultivate a successful leadership role on your chapter board
