Details
TroutSpotter is an angler science tool developed by Trout Unlimited, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), WildME, and onWater Fish, that uses artificial intelligence to identify individual fish from angler-submitted photos. By logging fish caught with TroutSpotter, users contribute valuable data that supports conservation while connecting more deeply with their home waters.
Even better, promoting this cutting edge, mobile app locally is a fast way to recruit new - and often younger - anglers to participate in your chapter activities.
We need your help as dedicated anglers and TU members to refine the tool.
Join Helen Neville, TU’s Senior Scientist and Toren Shirk, Director of Product Innovation at onWater to learn more about the tool and how to use it.
